LAGREIN DUNKEL

A red wine made from Lagrein grapes, a native variety of South Tyrol, successfully cultivated in the valley carved out by the River Sarca, in the North Garda area of Trentino. The term ‘Dunkel’ (dark) refers to the still, ‘dark’ version of Lagrein, as opposed to the ‘Kretzer’ (rosé) version.

Colour: dark, impenetrable purple red with violet hues
Palate: full-bodied, smooth, and velvety on the palate. Tannins are prominent yet polished, caressing the palate without harshness. The palate reveals a solid structure while maintaining good freshness: fruit (blackberry, plum) dominates, accompanied by notes of dark chocolate on the finish. Long-lasting, with a slightly spicy aftertaste
